Commissioning
Commissioning a piece of furniture opens up a myriad of opportunities allowing you to enjoy a unique design that could complement an existing piece or create a stunning focal point in any room. My role as the designer/maker is to draw out the key elements of the design and the functionality that you require and to translate these into your aesthetically pleasing unique piece..
We can start with a phone call or online discussion which will allow me to create sketches which will help us to share a common understanding of the piece of furniture you have in mind. Subsequent discussions will refine the design details along with the woods to be used so that I can produce a design and price which will include delivery and fitting in your home. You are welcome be as involved in the design as little or as much as you would like.
A deposit will be required to book the piece into the making schedule, and a delivery time will then be given.
I will keep you informed of progress either by email and photographs or you are welcome to visit my workshop so that you can see your piece being made.
