My name is David Moorley.
After 30 years as a chemical engineer and project manager, I took early retirement and retrained as a furniture maker. I started working with wood at an early age helping my father who was a keen amateur woodworker, like his father before him. I spent a year training and honing my skills with Michael Scott, a well established and respected maker of fine furniture, before setting up my own workshop on the border between North Devon and Cornwall.
